New Season starting on 14th September 2009

Welcome to the first piece of news for the new season. The news tailed off at the end of last season. Not because there wasn't any, in fact the reverse was true. One of our members was the National Final runner up in a competion, another a regional finalist in a different competition, a previous club president was awarded both the Masterpiece and Advanced certificates and the news rolled on! In the excitement we forget to write about it all. We will do better this year. We have a new club president and some new blood on the committee. one or two have left, two or three have joined and the club retains its position as being a strong force for better speaking. In fact, in the immediate area there is no better club for enjoying the art of speaking in public. New members are always welcome and all you need to do is turn up at 8.00pm on the meeting dates. We will look forward to meeting you. Whether you want to enjoy social speaking, enhance your business speaking skills or merely find something really interesting to do as a hobby twice a month, you will be made to feel very welcome.
