Christmas Cheer Meeting 22nd December

It might have been the 22nd December and the last meeting of 2008 but it was well attended and a great deal of fun. Our chairperson was taking that role for the first time and did a terrific job which helped the meeting be a success. With a festive theme, we had one speech, one PowerPoint speech and a recital of sorts. Topics were engaging and used the PowerPoint equipment to allow people to get used to this medium. The evaluation of them was helpful and effective. Santa was in evidence, at least his coat was, and the evening had lots of fun, laughter and still some learning points for everyone. It was a possitive way to end the year and we look forward to our speaking in 2009. First meeting is on January 12th. Make a note in your diary and do not miss this wonderful speakers club.
